Dr. Stathakis recently joined Martin Downs Animal Hospital in August 2023! Originally from Colorado’s countryside, Dr. Stathakis learned about her love for all creatures great and small at a young age. She pursued the study of animal sciences at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and then continued her journey in becoming a veterinarian at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine (ranked 2nd in the country as of 2023). Outside of work, Dr. Stathakis thoroughly enjoys spending time outside, swimming, horseback riding, and exploring the Florida coastline.
